Hospitality Training Trends & Research
One of CHART's key strategies is to understand training and human resources priorities and trends through research.
The Trends in Hospitality Training and Development Study, done in partnership with TDn2K, offers some key insights such as:
- Turnover is going up as unemployment continues to grow. We are hiring younger employees as labor market tightens.
- A smaller ratio of trainees per trainer tied to lower turnover levels.
- Allocating dollars to training the trainers still pays in terms of decreasing unit level turnover.
- Investing in orientation helps reduce turnover through early engagement of new employees.
- And more!
