Training and Development Coordinator

Job Description

The Training and Development Coordinator assists and support Operations Services in the design, development and deployment of consistent eLearning and training materials.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage ongoing maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Provides support and troubleshooting of system for end users
  • Partner with Training and Development Manager to administer courses and course assignments
  • Assist with content development, test and review of online courses and other ancillary tasks related to online learning
  • Assists in writing learning objectives, course content, scenarios, media scripts, practice activities and assessments
  • Manage LMS reporting and assist with data analysis
  • Review training materials and offer constructive feedback to Operations Services team; collaborating to assist in content development
  • Create and maintain operations training manuals and other printed training resources
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and across all departments within Firehouse Subs to ensure training content is current, accurate, consistent and aligned with corporate goals
  • Provide support for webinars
  • Deliver projects efficiently so that tasks are completed on time and problems are anticipated or resolved quickly
  • Openly and respectfully engage in all discussions relating to training issues; provide solution-based input and make logical recommendations
  • Actively participate in process development and continuous improvement projects
  • Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks
  • Executes other tasks as requested by the Training and Development Project Manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working with LMS (uploading, testing, and supporting content in multiple formats) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments
  • Excellent organizational, project management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Articulate Storyline
  • Experience with UberConference or similar platforms a plus
