Sr. Analyst, Instructional Design

Job Description

The Sr. Analyst, Instructional Design reports to the Sr. Manager, Training for Firehouse Subs US and Canada and is part of the Operations Team at Restaurant Brands International, Firehouse Subs Brand. The Sr. Analyst, Instructional Design will lead creating training material for the Brand & support operations initiatives from concept to launch. This role will design training content using design authoring tools, work with vendors to shape training deliverables, organize training communications, and assist in establishing training best practices to continuously improve.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities

This role will proactively lead and execute Learning & Development strategy and programs related to Firehouse Subs Restaurant Operations. Focus on creating role-based curriculums and support material such as eLearning modules, Job Aids, Build Cards, Standard Operating Procedures & Execution Guides that are needed to deliver a positive Guest Experience. In addition, create new programs to support upcoming initiatives and fill skill gaps in Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Apply learning & development theory/models, leverage, or benchmark best practices/trends, and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge approaches in order to deliver solutions that drive measurable, lasting impact.
  • Reviews training materials to ensure quality in approach, design, development, and deployment.
  • Demonstrates abilities to prioritize and advance several projects each week ensuring progress of both short- and long-term goals
  • Provides guidance regarding needs assessment, planning, course design, technology, and instructional delivery options to develop team members and ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Develops and maintains training for restaurant teams, to support the marketing-led LTO, test, and off-premise initiatives.
  • Support Training initiatives from concept to launch, including collecting data, working with vendors, creating materials and collecting feedback from stakeholders
  • Design training material for the right audience with a tailored approach for each role
  • Communicate training initiatives and projects to internal and external teams through weekly newsletters, webcasts & leadership meetings
  • Analytical focus that tracks, monitors, and improves KPIs related to Training & the Guest Experience
  • Work with cross functional departments to support Training initiatives and design content based on learning objectives to support restaurant Teams
