What will I be doing?

As the Senior Manager of Learning, Sales, you will consult with business stakeholders and internal colleagues globally to identify learning needs, provide learning recommendations and solutions that align with Hilton’s learning strategy and the Hilton Sales Process, and ensure the successful development and delivery of that strategy.

The Senior Manager, Learning, Sales, will be responsible for the strategic design and architecture of the learning curriculum for hotel and corporate salespeople, including design, development, and curation of training content. You will ensure all learning content is aligned to business goals, is delivered in a consistent, efficient manner, and has measurable outcomes.

In addition, you will be a project liaison between vendors and Sales Leaders. You will serve as the subject matter expert on learning design, delivery methods, and measurement learning programs in partnership with these vendors, while consulting with your clients. Your clients will typically be Hotel and Corporate Sales Enablement leaders and other Commercial Leaders globally, with a primary focus on the Americas region.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions.
  • Work with colleagues and vendor partners to ensure instructional design and measurement of training/learning efficiency are aligned with business goals.
  • Partner with vendors for content development. This includes building requests for proposals and reviewing vendor options, managing statements of work/non-disclosure agreements/master service agreements, providing feedback to vendor-based responses/edits from partners, and handling timely payment of invoices.
  • Meet regularly with key partners and leadership to ensure a proactive method to progress on key strategic priorities and learning activities.
  • Coordinate logistics of training when required, such as delivery methods for Instructor-Led or VILT, venue sourcing, and booking, providing learning materials, etc.


Job Requirements


What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years of consulting and project management experience
  • Experience crafting and delivering presentations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word including the ability to understand/build/manipulate presentations, spreadsheets, and documents

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Three (3) years of learning and development experience and/or virtual instructor-led learning experience and learning production
  • On-property or Above Property Sales experience
  • APTD, CPLP/CPTD, or PMP certifications
