Manager, Learning Property Engagement Platform (PEP)

Job Description

What will I be doing?
The Hilton Learning team provides pioneering learning solutions for our Guests, Global Corporate, Managed, and Franchise Team Members. Additionally, we provide developmental offerings through crafting, curating, and sourcing content that is easily accessible and targeted – from foundational to professional skills.  The successful candidate will be team-oriented and work effectively with a wide variety of Team Members across the organization.

More specifically, you will:

  • Assist in coordinating and creating learning experiences to support hotel operations training associated with PEP TrainMe and PEP AssistMe platforms, including:
  • Assist in planning role-based learning curriculum for new hotel openings and new Team Members.
  • Review JIRA tickets and plan content and sprint release videos based on an assessment of ongoing PEP enhancements.
  • Test new functionality in the PEP TrainMe/AssistMe flow builder.
  • Work with subject matter experts to define learning requirements, gather content, create learning content, and review content for edits/approval.
  • Apply content management and project management skills to maintain the PEP Learning digital library and track documents in Smartsheet.
  • Use multi-media skills to create or edit job aids or videos suitable for hotel business processes.
  • Edit existing training material within TrainKey to a suitable form for micro-learning.
  • Create support documents to support PEP onboarding.
  • Post content, notifications, and alerts in PEP TrainMe/AssistMe and create, edit or test flows.
  • Curate best practices for creating learning content in the microlearning environment with the various tools used to create content, not limited to creating guided flows, eLearning, videos, or job aids.
  • Troubleshoot training completion issues in PEP TrainMe/AssistMe and Hilton University.

Job Requirements


To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Three (3) years of project management experience
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed corporate environment
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two (2) years of work experience in Learning, Technology, or Brand Management
  • Two (2) years in organizations with a centralized Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Two (2) years of implementation experience with a Digital Adoption & Enterprise Performance and Enablement platforms such as Salesforce MyTrailhead, WalkMe, or Oracle Guided Learning
  • Three (3) years of hotel experience using property, sales, or revenue systems
  • Experience developing, delivering, and deploying technical training
  • Project management experience using agile methodologies
  • Previous experience using Atlassian tools or other technical issue-tracking software
  • Previous experience with multimedia and eLearning development tools (i.e. Storyline, Camtasia, Snagit, Captivate, EditTable, etc.)
