Field Human Resources Director
Job Description
Our client is looking for a Head of Field Human Resources to lead field aspects of Human Resources and create a positive work culture for all employees. The Head of HR will be responsible for organizational development, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, development, succession planning and retaining top talent in addition to building a great company culture with an emphasis on a culture that values retention, coaching, career development, and fast paced growth. This role can be fully remote.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all Employee Relations functions including FMLA, EEOC, STD, LTD and Unemployment claims
- Oversee all aspects of HR ranging from employee relations, investigations, recruiting and compliance
- Must be proactive in all investigations and training of employee relations to management
- Assist in the execution of the annual review processes for support staff
- Create forms and compile data for review on an as needed basis
- Manage special projects pertinent to the evolution of the business
- Conduct thorough investigations and assist with in-store investigations
- Conduct Labor Law Training as needed for support office and store management
- Manage all aspects of the company drug testing program
- Management of all Employee Relations functions including FMLA, EEOC, STD, LTD and Unemployment claims
- Oversee all aspects of HR ranging from employee relations, investigations, recruiting and compliance
- Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
- Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
- Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
- Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3-5 years’ experience as HR Manager or equivalent, strong preference for multi-state experience
- 5+ years of recent experience within the Restaurant Industry as a HR professional supporting
- Ability to be agile
- Ability to build and lead a HR Team
- Strong leadership, administrative and organizational skills
- Strong platform skills with ability to address large groups
- Proficient with statistics and analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Able to build relationships and is very approachable
- Must relish giving guidance and support to others and have excellent management skills
- High energy level and positive can-do attitude
- Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and handle confidential information on a regular basis
- Exhibit professionalism while interacting with employees and leadership
