Director of Training and Development
Job Description
The Director will ensure that all training for our new and existing team members is set to the highest standards to deliver a fun and exceptional customer experience to all our guests.

This position will report directly to the Head of Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Train, coach and mentor new managers, and team members while embodying and fostering the company’s values, integrity and commitment in the workplace.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organization, engaging with organizational leaders to understand their business challenges, identify training needs, and develop effective learning solutions.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Keeps current with talent and learning trends by conducting research, attending workshops/events and staying informed to adopt industry trends.
- Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
- Manage the training budget and resources effectively.
- Must be willing and able to travel locally within California and out-of-state restaurant locations, as needed and to support NROs.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
· Five years’ experience working in the fast-food or general restaurant industry.
· At least five years training experience to include at least three years in a supervisory or senior training position.
· A bachelor’s degree.
· Experience with start-up operations preferred.
· Experience with Learning Management System platforms preferred.
· Proficiency in using learning technologies and platforms such as Dayforce, Toast, etc.
· Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
· Ability to conduct research and analyze data to inform training strategies.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
· Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish preferred.
