Monique Donahue, CHT

Director of Professional Development & Academic Markets • RMA

Monique Donahue is a 20+ year veteran in the field of instructional design and technology-based education. She is currently Director of Professional Development  & Academic Markets for RMA, where she leads professional development strategy and implementation, including certification and a catalog of live, online, and virtual course offerings.

In her previous role as Director, eLearning for Hilton Grand Vacations, Monique managed the design and production of e-learning solutions, training curricula, and performance development initiatives for Sales and Marketing teams. Prior to joining Hilton, she spent 16 years with the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, where she led the development of all off-the-shelf and customized industry training and professional certification programs, most recently as Vice President, Research & Development.

Monique earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Tufts University and has completed graduate-level coursework toward a Master of Science degree in industrial/organizational psychology at the University of Central Florida. She has published in Hotel Management magazine, Hospitality Training Magazine, and the eLearning Guild’s Learning Solutions e-Magazine, and was a contributing author to Best of The eLearning Guild’s Learning Solutions: Top Articles from the eMagazine’s First Five Years. She has also been an active member of CHART since 2003, serving in a number of capacities including volunteer, mentor, speaker, conference team member, Conference Director, RTF Director, Education Strategist, and President-Elect.
