San Diego, CA (February 5, 2013) – In addition to a packed conference agenda with relevant educational workshops and keynote speakers, the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART, www.chart.org) is offering a post-conference session, open to everyone, which will focus on improving communication and the conflict resolution process within organizations.
This hands-on session will take place on February 26, 2013 at the conclusion of CHART’s 85th Hospitality Training Conference which will be held at The Westin San Diego in San Diego, CA.
Joleen Goronkin, CEO & President, People and Performance Strategies, and Curt Archambault, Vice-President, People and Performance Strategies, will lead this post-conference workshop. Together, through a variety of exercises, discussions, and real life scenarios, they will provide participants with a new awareness of the different personality types, how to communicate effectively with each other, and how to handle difficult situations to reduce conflict.
“Improving your communication skills is something everyone, not just trainers, will find of value,” commented John Kelley, CHART President and Chief People Officer & VP of Training and Human Resources at White Castle System. He continues, “We are confident that Joleen and Curt will equip attendees with the appropriate tools and knowledge to handle any type of interpersonal issue.”
Joleen Goronkin, People and Performance Strategies, noted, “All participants will leave with a tool box full of Team Building Best Practices. Not only will participants have the information they need to implement them in their organization, but attendees will also have a chance to participate in a few of them!”
