CHART Announces 2019 - 2020 Board of Directors
CHART announced the election of its new Board of Directors at its 98th Hospitality Training Conference, held July 27 - 30, 2019 at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.
WESTFIELD, NJ, August 9, 2019 – The Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART, chart.org) announced the election of its new Board of Directors at its 98th Hospitality Training Conference, held July 27 - 30, 2019 at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.

The Board will be headed up by Serah Morrissey, SPHR, President of CHART. Serah is the Area Director of Human Resources for WB Hotel Partners in Edina, MN.
CHART Board members for the 2019 - 2020 year include:
Monique Donahue, CHT, President-Elect
- Monique is the Director, eLearning, Sales and Marketing for Hilton Grand Vacations in Orlando, FL.
Tammy Calhoun, CHT, Board Member
- Tammy is the Director of Learning and Development for Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Charlotte, NC.
Colby Hutchinson, OCEM, ACI, CHA, Board Member
- Colby is the Director of Customer Experience and Brand Management Administration for Best Western Hotels & Resorts in Phoenix, AZ.
Rachel Richal, CHT, Board Member
- Rachel is the Director of Learning and Team Member Activation for Buffalo Wild Wings, Atlanta, GA.
Chris Sutton, Board Member
- Chris is the Director of Training for Another Broken Egg Café in Orlando, FL.
And beginning her first year in an appointed Board position:
Jennifer Belk White, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHT, Board Member – Educational Strategist
- Jennifer is the Vice President of Human Resources for Premier Parking in Nashville, TN.
This new Board will continue to carry out key strategies for CHART including expanding the reach of its Hospitality Training Competencies Certificate Program, strengthening strategic industry partnerships, and providing exceptional professional and personal development experiences for its members. The Board also oversees CHART’s semi-annual hospitality training conferences which will be held February 22 - 25, 2020 at the Embassy Suites, Napa Valley, CA and July 25 - 28, 2020 at the Westin Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL. Newly this year, the Board will also oversee training content in CHART’s new Hospitality Training Magazine.
