CHART Announces 2025 - 2026 Board of Directors

The new board will carry out key strategies for CHART, including the development of educational programming for today’s hospitality trainers and their organizations, strengthening strategic industry partnerships and networking opportunities, expanding the reach of its Hospitality Training Competencies Certificate Program, and providing forward-thinking professional and personal development experiences for its members. The Board also oversees CHART’s semi-annual hospitality training conferences.

WESTFIELD, NJ, August 18, 2025 – The Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART, chart.org) announced the election of its new Board of Directors at its 108th Hospitality Training Conference, held August 3-6, 2025 at the Sonesta Redondo Beach & Marina in Redondo Beach, CA.

The Board will be led by Kelly McCutcheon, President of CHART. Kelly is the Group Director of Training for Whataburger. It is her fourth year on the Board. 

CHART Board members for the 2025 - 2026 year include: 

Dr. Jennifer Belk White, Ed.D, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHT, President-Elect
Jen is the Vice President of Human Resources for General Hotels Corporation. It is her fifth year on the Board; having previously served for two years in an appointed Education Strategist position. 

Corban Nichols, Board Member, Conferences & Programming
Corban is the Vice President of Restaurant Excellence for Piada Italian Street Food. It is his second year on the Board. 

Kim Evans, Board Member, Conferences & Programming
Kim is the Director of Training for Hopdoddy Burger Bar. It is her first year on the Board. 

James Frank, Board Member, Networking
James is the Manager, Field Training for Dine Brands Global (Applebee's). It is his third year on the Board. 

Audrey Benet, Board Member, Membership
Audrey is the Director of Training for GuestCounts Hospitality, and is an Associate Professor at the Valencia College Walt Disney World Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality. It is her first year on the Board. 

In his third year in an appointed Board position: 

Curt Archambault, Board Member, Education Strategist
Curt is a Consulting Partner for People and Performance Strategies. Previously, he served four years on the Board and is a past CHART President.
