CHART Announces 2023 - 2024 Board of Directors

The new board will carry out key strategies for CHART including developing educational programming for today’s hospitality trainers and their organizations, strengthening strategic industry partnerships and networking opportunities, expanding the reach of its Hospitality Training Competencies Certificate Program, and providing forward-thinking professional and personal development experiences for its members.

WESTFIELD, NJ, August 17, 2023 – CHART announced the election of its new Board of Directors at its 104th Hospitality Training Conference, held July 29 – August 1, 2023 at the Rosen Plaza, Orlando, Florida.

The Board will be led by Damian Hanft, President of CHART. Damian is the Vice President, Talent Experience for Inspire Brands. It is his fourth year on the Board (non-consecutive years).

CHART Board members for the 2023 - 2024 year include:

Felicia White, MBA, CHT, President-Elect

Felicia is the Director, Franchise Training for Scooter's Coffee. It is her third year on the Board.

 

James Frank, Board Member, Conferences

James is the Area Leader of Training for Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. It is his first year on the Board.

 

Alie Gaffan, CHT, Board Member, Networking

Alie is the Senior Vice President of People and Culture for Pacifica Hotels. It is her first year on the Board.

 

Kelly McCutcheon, Board Member, Membership

Kelly is the Group Director of Training for Whataburger. It is her second year on the Board.

 

Jennifer Belk White, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CHT, Board Member, Programming

Jen is the Human Resources Director for Lumina Foods. It is her third year on the Board; having previously served for two years in an appointed Education Strategist position.

 

In his first year in an appointed Board position:

Curt Archambault, Board Member, Education Strategist

Curt is a Consulting Partner for People and Performance Strategies. Previously, he served four years on the Board, and is a past CHART President.

 

The new board will carry out key strategies for CHART including developing educational programming for today’s hospitality trainers and their organizations, strengthening strategic industry partnerships and networking opportunities, expanding the reach of its Hospitality Training Competencies Certificate Program, and providing forward-thinking professional and personal development experiences for its members. The Board also oversees CHART’s semi-annual hospitality training conferences.
