Job Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' human resource experience
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification required
  • Proficient knowledge of Office 365, Excel and Word
  • Experienced in employee relations including but not limited to training, performance management, onboarding and exit interviews
  • Familiarity with human resource procedures, standards, employment law compliance and government regulations
  • Restaurant HR experienced preferred
  • Ability to occasionally travel as needed


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Conducts and analyzes data to make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Provides technical support for HRIS and ATS system including new user set up
  • Tracks and maintains Team and Management turnover analysis
  • Reconciles monthly & quarterly invoices and submit for payment in a timely manner
  • Manages the employment relations process directly or indirectly with management
  • Manages the FMLA administration process and works with Operations to maximize the Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC)
  • Reviews ATS (Applicant Tracking System) data to ensure all locations are compliant with I-9 and onboarding tasks
  • Ensures ADP payroll and benefits records are accurate
  • Tracks and maintains Personnel Action Forms- status changes, pay increases, transfers, and uploads documents to employee records
  • Maintains company human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database or files including monthly/quarterly reporting for external vendors
  • Ability to create ad-hoc reports for senior leadership on a regular basis
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment rules and list of pending regulation changes
  • Strong ability to respond to EEOC/DOL or other government or state agencies as appropriate
  • Actively participates in policy and procedures creation to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of the department and services performed
